over 25 years. He began writing and performing with his group ‘Nutshell’, who
were one of the Pioneering groups of Contemporary Christian Music, in the late
70’s and has continued performing as a soloist from the mid 80’s to the present.

Brooks : Rebecca St James : Jaqui Velasquez : Phil Keaggy, Point of Grace &
Jennifer Knapp. A few of Paul’s major Song covers include: All that matters
: Cliff Richard on the ‘Tribute’ Album for Diana Princess of Wales. Testify
to Love : Avalon on their Platinum album ‘A Maze of Grace’. (The song was also
the most played song in the history of american Christian Radio, stayed at #1
for 6 weeks and won the ‘Dove’ Award for best contemporary song). Testify to
love was also a hit for Wynnona on the soundtrack album ‘Touched by an Angel’
which has sold over 2 million copies. Merciful : Rebecca St James (Grammy Award
winning artist) on her Platinum album ‘Transform’. The Millennium Prayer : Cliff
Richard’s controversial Christmas single in 1999 which was a UK #1 for 3 weeks
and sold over 1.3 million copies, raising over £600,000 for the Charity ‘Children’s
Promise’. Paul won the ‘Ivor Novello’ award from the British Academy of Songwriter’s
for this song for the best selling UK Single. </p>
