Lent Vessels - 9
“This is the time to be slow, Lie low to the wall Until the bitter weather passes. Try, as best you can, not to let The wire brush of doubt Scrape from your heart All sense of yourself And your hesitant light. If you remain generous, Time will come good; And you will find your feet Again on fresh pastures of promise, Where the air will be kind And blushed with beginning.” John O'Donohue

Definitely not a Piano Blog but an 'extra' - a blessing for the extraordinary times we're in !
Go Peaceful (Live studio version) As we've all got more time on our hands (and things on our minds) at the moment I've decided that along with my regular Piano Blog improvisations and Ruth's photos I'm going to start posting a few Song videos - again mostly accompanied by Ruth's images but also the occasional live video. As well as on Facebook they'll also be on my Youtube channel www.youtube.com/paulfield and on bandcamp www.paulfield.bandcamp.com Whilst we're all social distancing a bit of online social interaction will be very welcome so please share/like/follow. God bless and stay safe Paul & Ruth Field Lent Vessels - 6

The Piano Blog
I'm trying to play the Piano for a while most days. Just improvising whatever comes into my head.
Just to capture a moment. All these pieces are unedited, one take and so mistakes are included ! All Photographs by Ruth Field www.ruthfield.com To see all available downloads and CD's or to become a subscriber and support The Piano Blog & Paul's work go to :
