A Message from 'The Piano Blog'
This is my 32nd post on the Piano Blog and I’m still really enjoying doing it and very encouraged that so many people are listening, liking and following this musical Diary along with Ruth's pictures. One of the downsides of making music for a living is that every now and then I have to think of how my work, however much I might enjoy it, can bring in some income. Obviously there’s no way The Piano Blog is doing that (nor was it ever intended to - I'm doing it for myself as much as for anybody else) but I just wanted to flag up the possibility of supporting all my music (and Ruth's work) by subscription (some of you already do this, if so thank you, you can stop reading now)! Details of what’s involved in becoming a subscriber are at www.paulfield.bandcamp.com/subscribe Basically, you’d become a ‘patron’ of the arts (well - of me anyway) and from £5 a month you’ll automatically receive free downloads of all the new music I write in the future + free downloads of 6 albums from the catalogue. If you prefer CD's to downloads you also get 10% discount on all CD’s. As a subscriber you can enjoy the music knowing that you're helping to make it happen. Having said all that - whatever happens I aim to continue posting ‘The Piano Blog’ free until a) I run out of ideas or b) people stop listening. Thanks again for your support. Paul Field

The Piano Blog
I'm trying to play the Piano for a while most days. Just improvising whatever comes into my head.
Just to capture a moment. All these pieces are unedited, one take and so mistakes are included ! All Photographs by Ruth Field www.ruthfield.com To see all available downloads and CD's or to become a subscriber and support The Piano Blog & Paul's work go to :
